Articulation
- The head can swivel/tilt on a double-sided ball-joint neck.
- Shoulder joints can swing frontwards.
- The arms can…
- Swivel on a ball-and-socket joint.
- Raise horizontally.
- The upper elbows can turn.
- The elbows and knees are double-jointed.
- The manipulators can swivel on a ball-and-socket joint.
- The waist can turn 360 degrees, though it can be hindered by a few skirt armor panels..
- The front and side skirt armors are poseable to avoid interference with the leg articulation.
- The hip joint axis can swivel forwards and backwards on one side.
- The upper thighs can swing frontwards (and backwards in a limited extent due to the non-poseable rear skirt armor) on a peg joint, raise horizontally, and/or rotate on each piece.
- The ankles can tilt (slightly)/pivot.
Weapons/Other Gimmicks
- Any of the weapons can be wielded by the 0 Gundam.
- The shield can only mount onto the left forearm.
- Beam Saber can be optionally detached as a handheld weapon for 0 Gundam. (Beam Effect part must be used from the0A.C.D. Type kit, or reuse the ones from the SB-9 runner)
- 0 Gundam can mount onto anyAction Basesvia a slide-out port on the rear skirt armor.
Tips & Tricks
- For better results, some/most of the details are needed to be applied/panel-linedwith Gundam Markers/Mr. Color Paints.
- Topcoat (Mr. Hobby recommended) can be used to protect applied stickers and if any, marking decals and painted details.
- If using matte/flat-finish top coat, it is advisable not to spray on the translucent parts – can be done by masking or spraying top coat while the said parts are separated.
- Take note that the Gundam Shield adapter’s clamp is held by friction, so it can potentially fall off on the straight-built left forearm unless the forearms are painted and/or topcoated in a few thin layers.
- Care must be taken while assembling the ball-jointed waist armors: depending on the thickness of your painted waist sockets, the ball joint can eventually create stress marks (or even worst; potential breakage) on the sockets. It’s recommended to wipe off the excess paint on the sockets with a cotton swab dousedwith either thinner or the Gundam Marker Eraser pen’s liquid.
