His cradle was right next to Son Goku’s cradle who was crying all the time. His incessant crying drove him half mad and Broly kept a visceral hatred towards him in his subconscious.

After an attempt on his life, Broly and his father went into exile on a remote planet to plan their revenge on King Vegeta and his descendants.
