Monkey D. Luffy, also known as “Mugiwara” , is the main protagonist of the manga and anime One Piece .
He is the founder and captain of the Straw Hat Pirates, now considered the crew of the 5th Yonko. In terms of power, Luffy rivals even the other Yonko, considered the most powerful pirates in the One Piece world.
Born in the village of Fuchsia, Luffy accidentally ate the Gomu Gomu no Mi at the age of 7, which transformed his body into rubber, enabling him to develop techniques such as Gear 2nd, Gear 3, Gear 4 and finally Gear 5.
