Master Roshi, also known as Turtle Sage or Kame Sennin, is a master of martial arts who trained Gohan, Ox-King, Goku, Krillin, and Yamcha. He has a sister named fortune teller Baba. He is also a hermit and a pervert. In his youth, he was simply called Turtle (Kam).

Kame Sennin is the second master of Son Goku after his grandfather Son Gohan. He is a great martial arts expert and one of the best fighters in history thanks to the turtle style he invented himself. He was trained by master Mutato and master Karin, and won the Tenka-Ichi-Budoka several times during his youth.

The only transformation of Kame Sennin is called Maximum Power and allows him to increase his muscle mass and ki, making him a super colossus.
