Light Yagami , known as Kira, and referred to as L (or “Second L”) after the former’s death, and nicknamed by the SPK L-Kira, is a Japanese human who was given a Death Note, while he was still in school. The existence of this Japanese high school student, extraordinarily gifted for his age, is forever changed the day he accidentally picks up the Death Note, a notebook that has the power to kill anyone whose name is written in it. Having been able to verify its evil power, he decides to use it to eliminate the worst criminals, convinced that he is contributing to the creation of a perfect world. Faced with an unprecedented wave of deaths of criminals by heart attack, caused by Light Yagami who chose to sign his murders in this way, the world opinion concludes the existence of a single assassin and nicknamed him “Kira” (a word formed from the English “killer”).
