Marco was the commander of the First Division of The Crew of Whitebeard. He is also known as “Marco the Phoenix” and owes his nickname to the power of the Mythical Zoan Demon Fruit that allows him to transform into a phoenix and regenerate himself at will. Marco was the right-hand man of Yonko Whitebeard as well as his closest confidant.
Following the War of Retaliation, Marco returned to Sphinx, the island of his late captain’s birth, where he acts as a doctor and protector of the islanders as well as for the crew of Whitebeard.
