Sesshmaru is a powerful dog daiykai, feared throughout the feudal era. He is the half-brother of the Hany Inu Yasha and the first son of Inu no Taish, their father. Unlike many other ykai, he has no interest in possessing even a single piece of the Shikon no Tama to enhance his powers. On his journey, he was accompanied by a two-headed dragon named A-Un, a demon called Jaken, an orphaned human girl named Rin and finally Sango’s brother, Kohaku.
