Smoker “The White Hunter” is a Navy officer stationed at the G-5 base. He was first introduced as a Captain in Loguetown, where he made his mission to capture Monkey D. Luffy, and was later promoted to Rear Admiral, due to the events in Alabasta. Later, during the two-year ellipse, he was promoted to Vice Admiral.

Because of his actions against Luffy in Loguetown, Smoker can be considered the main antagonist of the Loguetown arc.

Smoker ate the Moku Moku No Mi a logia that made him a smoky man and coupled with his mastery of Weapon Haki makes him a formidable opponent.
